Kia Joorabchian not endearing himself to Man City fans

I absolutely loathe Kia Joorabchian. Everything about him, and everything he stands for. Slimey, dishonest, greedy, and manipulative.

He was speaking today at the Leaders in Football conference, and naturally made reference to the Carlos Tevez situation – and as you’d expect he defended his golden goose/client.

“One thing you can’t criticise him for is his commitment when he’s on the pitch, you can never criticise him for not wanting to play.”

Apparently now the translator was to blame for Tevez giving the very revealing answer…

“I did not feel right to play, so I did not.”

…as according to Joorabchian, Tevez simply didn’t understand the question. Right, so would you mind telling us what your client thought he was being asked when he said that? After all, it seems like more of a statement than a reply.

Carlos Tevez really doesn’t understand very much does he – doesn’t understand when he’s being asked to warm up, or when to play, or what’s meant when he’s asked to explain his behaviour.

If nobody buys the clumsy and transparent PR recovery attempt, and all else fails, just play the ‘idiot card’. Surely Tevez and Joorabchian are now running out of new lies to tell?
