Early Morning Notes: Junior Hoillet, Joe Hart, John Motson, and Gary Neville

The Metro has reprinted the torrent of rubbish that was the David Hoillet to Tottenham story that appeared in The People yesterday – our thoughts on that are here.

More reports in London’s favourite opinion-less free newspaper have Manchester United making an approach for Santos starlet Ganso – although that has more to do with the ‘good young player must be linked with big clubs in England’ rule that the press adhere to. Sir Alex Ferguson is ‘monitoring his progress’ apparently.

The Telegraph have done an interview with John Motson to mark his 40 years of commentating on the game. Motson isn’t my cup of tea, but 40 years is 40 years I guess.
