Those who keep abreast of the goings-on in Turkish football will be aware of that issues that exist between Didier Zokora and Emre after last month’s game between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce – following an altercation, the Ivorian revealed that:
“Emre and I came face to face during the match.I’ll tell you what he said word for word. He called me: ‘A dirty n*****’.”
Amazingly, Emre managed to get away with just a two-match ban for that – which says as much about the Turkish FA as it does the player. Understandably, and judging by the video below, the wounds had not healed between the two by the time they came face-to-face over the weekend.
