The Express have taken a short break from their 24/7 Diana coverage to bring us the worst transfer rumour of the weekend.
Journalist John Richardson, hang your head in shame – your ‘Harry Redknapp eye on Wolves duo’ piece is probably the worst use of the internet we’ve seen recently.
Richardson claims that Tottenham are interested in Wolves pair Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis, both of whom he prices at a eye-watering £10m.
Ordinarily in this situation, we would quote parts of the article and systematically ridicule them, but unfortunately there’s nothing to quote. It’s really that bad.
Oh, and Richardson also chucks Demba Ba into the equation.
Fortunately for Tottenham fans fearing that their side might soon be populated by average relegation-fodder, this is just some desperately poor journalism.

Jarvis would not be a bad purchase; althought £10m is excessive. He’d give Lennon competition and cover when he is injured. If ‘Arry decides to ever implement a rotation system then he’d be decent coverage for Bale too.
Saying that, aren’t Spurs rumoured to be interested in Junior Hoilett and Milos Krasic?
Fletcher would be a good signing actually, maybe not for 10mil, but 7/8 would get him. He’d be happy to play for us even if not first choice. Remember, he got 13 I think this season for Wolves, who gave him hardly any service at all.

I my self am a Tottenham fan, but I just want to know what your problem is, think back 12 month who was it that weree relegated? West Ham. Scott Parker was the best of a bad bunch as are the two previously named players, even if this is just a rumor i would be excited at the prospect (although not the price) as they are two young talented players. All you have done is attacked an individual to make your article look better, in my view you should hold your hands up and say sorry, but we know that’s not going to happen.
