Google him, and you’ll be dazzled with facts about his scoring record at reserve team level, but try to ignore that, whichever second team league HJK Helsinki play in, I’m willing to bet that the standard isn’t high enough to make conclusive judgements around. More relevantly, he currently possesses a strike record of just under 1-in-2 for HJK’s senior side. Whenever you get quoted statistics from reserve team football, just think about Javier Portillo and his failure to step up from that level – that should give you some context.
The player is actually a Liverpool fan according to the press, so there seems to be a good chance of this happening. Is he any good? No idea – but there’s some video below. As ever with this kind of signing, his treatment as and when he does move clubs will be more important than natural ability in determining whether he fulfils his potential.
