Last seen doing his little plastic gangster act on Twitter, Ranger has returned to the social media website to complain about the fans’ reaction to Newcastle losing at St James’ Park on Saturday:
“Certain fans need to not come and support this team… Coming out to BOOO us.. Stay at home.. Don’t need ur BOO’s…. SAY NO MORE !!!! To all the fans. U are not forced to buy season tickets.. Or pay our wages.. Please remember that.
If u are loyal fans.. Be with us.. When we are out there on the field.. Be the 12th man.. Don’t come and BOO.. That aint going to help any1. Team is going through rough patch.. Last thing we need is fans against us.
We are a TEAM u BOO 1 player… Ur booing all of us !!!”
First of all, who are you? Nile Ranger, to put it kindly, is an afterthought at Newcastle – a player with no discernible purpose in the Premier League.
If Yohan Cabaye, Cheik Tiote, or Tim Krul had some opinions on this, then maybe they’d be worth hearing out – but Nile Ranger? This is like Joey Barton moaning about the Wembley crowd during England games.
Get in the team first son, then worry about the supporters. Even then, let’s not go down the ‘nobody’s forcing you to pay us’ road, because that doesn’t end in a good place.
If you lose at home to Reading, whoever you are, you should just be quiet.
